Went up to Bromsgrove Auto Trimmers yesterday to settle up, and they really have made me the happiest guy.

It has come at just the right moment with lots of other stuff going on in our family.

Only a few more weeks and Billy Bob will be back home. Big thank you to all at Bromsgrove Auto Trimmers.

A sneaky peak, no more until completed now...

To Airteriors we come...

Chow for now... Ben

It's been a while since an update!!

So here goes, Kirsty & I are heading up to Airteriors on Wednesday this week to see Billybob in the metal really excited about seeing the finished article after choosing the colour scheme for the Formica very early on in the build, it's been great working with Nick to come up with a fantastic finish.

I would definitely recommend him to anyone who's after any interior upgrade or complete build, he is a top bloke.

Billybob has been away since 14/08/13 and covered some mileage on the back of Craig's low loader. It will shortly be doing his final low loader journey back home...

Then the credit card, cheque book comes out and the money tree harvest begins again...

Suspension front (thinking Red 9) and rear (CE Spring plates), security, brakes, seat belts, passenger swivel base seat to fit, bumpers to prep & paint, electrics, (leisure battery, split charge) engine plumbing (remote cooler), fire suppression fitting, heating, sounds...the list is still quite long?!?!?

But so pleased with the look of the bus so far..

Here's some before pics

The upholstery courtesy of Bromsgrove Auto Trimmers who were superb Pete, Angela and the team are great thoroughly recommend them for any of your upholstery needs....also got a tail gate and windscreen blackout cover which are great. Check out their website for more pics..

The cabinet fit out by Nick at Airteriors has been a pleasure, throwing ideas back and forth his passion and eye for detail is superb, no such thing as a silly idea. Very happy I went to Nick and I hope you agree it's turned out blooming superb, although I am biased.

I really could of cried for the second time in this build when he sent me the finished photo, first time when my motor ran up !!!! No more tears now honest!!!

Please check out Nick's Airteriors Facebook page for more pics, and hit the like button!! There will definitely be more mighty fine buses rolling out of his workshop, that's for sure!!!!

Hoping to get finished for the start of the 2014 season with a little help from my friends Nick & Andrew, and obviously the support from Kirsty. Our Son Finnian is so excited.... Anyway, bye for now peeps. Ben ;-)

That is exactly how I want my interior to look like, simple and spacious !
Top work, beautiful bus. 8)

Thanks for the comments guys, it really has been a roller coaster of emotions really. Not getting to carried away just yet, due to the amount of work left to do.

However I'm blown away by the quality of workmanship gone into this bus....and I owe big thanks to Andrew, Nick, B.A.T's and Nick @ Airteriors. Not forgetting the patience from Kirsty, my boy Finnian tells me this morning he misses my big white T5...only as he could sit in the front. He'll soon be hooked on Billy-bob!!

As for you Nick (Alpsbay) - you're the reason I got started in these buses, dare I say it we almost bought a split...fair play you've been with me right the way through dude even navigated through Holland to find Kieft en Klok to view this one before buying, I'm eternally grateful mate. Now you need 3 Weetabix everyday to prepare for the return!!!!... Ha ha

Deserve to be excited, elegantly done! Right up my street and yet more inspiration for our first bay.. To br blunt my first aircooled. . Love it! Drew

Had a real long day but well worth all the miles, to say thanks, as Nick went beyond his remit and I am literally blown away by the transformation.

He has made me a very happy ginger bloke!!! & for that to say thanks I enlisted the help of Dr Tricky for some pin-striping which I gave to Nick today....
