Bloody amazing thread.

Alfie you are an inspiration and I didn't want this thread to come to an end!!!!!!

You have done a brilliant job and given us lots of cool ideas for Gladys. I take my hat off to you !!!

Is there anything you can't do??? :D

Thanks Mel :D Haven't got a clue about engines and have been pushing the camper in and out of the garage for as long as I can remember, added to the fact that the bloody thing is getting heavier and heavier the more I do to it

Time to call in the experts 8) This is Grahame your friendly Aircooled VW specialist based in Bicester,Oxfordshire. He had my camper engine up and running and purring like a kitten in a matter of minutes. Apart from a cup of coffee he never charged me a penny for doing it.

Anyone wanting some work done on their earlybay then he is the man to contact, I cant recommend him enough. He has full garage workshop and bodyshop based in Bicester and is very reasonable. He doesn't need to advertise as everyone who gets work done there recommends him to others, His number is 07825 683477, but dont tell everyone.

Cutting out the rotten bits a bit at a time so as not to lose the shape of the step.

measured by cutting pieces of card first to get the right fit where I had cut away the rot.
