New battery and coil advice

Hi there - I live in London and was thinking of getting a new battery off ebay for 71 westy 1.6tp and a coil.
Am I right in saying that a 60AH battery will be okay to use? Also a standard blue bosch coil will be okay - I have no idea what a ballast resistor is!

Anyone help me before I buy the wrong thing! :roll:

Yeah a regular bosch blue coil will be fine.
With your battery wouldn't the postage and stuff make it quite expensive? It's probably better to shop around your local branch of GSF http://www.gsfcarparts.com" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; and local motor factors.

Thanks Prof. W! Will order the coil. The battery place was one I could collect in Barnet, N London but the prices seemed good around £35.

Does anyone out there run a 65AH battery without any issues?
