just a quick note on this, as a few of you seem to be going for the chafeguard. i got this back from firetec about it (i enquired separately from the group buy):

Chafegard: is designed to reduce the damage caused by impact and abrasion in trucks and heavy earth movers. It is orders for use in smaller engine compartments because it looks good(?). Actually we do NOT recommend it in smaller engine compartments because it can cause shorting across live electrical components … and has actually set a small engine on fire that way.

Group Buy still open although I cannot guarantee delivery will be by Brighton Breeze, that really depends how long people want to keep the group buy open for?

I'm happy to close it whenever, at the moment we have reached the 30% discount level if everyone stays in and I had hoped we would get a few more so I could try and push for some extra discount.

I'm in no hurry either but i think we should look at setting a definitive date though, otherwise you will end up with people dropping out.

Also i imagine delivery will then be the next task as its collection from yourself at Tamworth or from shows you go to and the show season is almost coming to an end for this year is it not?

In the past there has been 40% discount available which is why I was trying to get a few more orders before I closed the group buy, will then it run for another week and then see what Tim says about discount.
