Hi there,

New to the forum, been lurking for a while but I've secured myself a van from the sales section, I bought this....

Love it. It's my 3rd air-cooled, had a 72 1200 Beetle, I currently have a 1958 PanrelVan and now have this too!

Have a few ideas what I will be doing to it, but keeping it very similar.

Cheers
Al.

That's a beaut and I have van envy. The Savanna Beige deluxe is probably my favourite "look". I'll post a pic of mine on here soon so maybe you'll can be as equally gushing.... :|

Just saying "Hi" to everyone. My name is Bobby, 37years from Luxembourg, car nut and aircooled fanatic and searching for the "right" earlybay
Here is a pic of my actual ride, a 1964 VW 1500s notchback

Hey there Ellafella, can`t wait to be bored {not} with piccies of your bus. Give it to us both barrels and a straight head shot please, and you are here, the weather is warming, the sun is making an appearance :p

Ozziedog,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, What`s not to like

Afternoon,

Just thought I would say hello! Just picked up a 1972 Bay Window at the weekend, bodywork and chassis have been extensively restored. The interior is a blank canvass waiting to be turned into a camping interior :)

Unfortunately I forgot to take some photo's before it got put away in the garage, but heres a sneak preview from the side door:

Gareth !!!! I reckon you`re just teasing us. Welcome along and have another go when you have the bus out again. You do have to use a hosting site like photobucket or similar or it just won`t work, there`s also lots of how toos on most pages here. My word of warning with the interior, is try it for a while before you go crazy designing everything and check out lots of busses with different ideas to see what suits best. Some peeps want stock stock or stock, some want custom and some want utilitarian and most peeps think about round and curved units too at some point, but it`s your bus so do what the hell you want

Nomuken,, now that`s a nice looking notch, good luck with the Bay search, they are getting thinner on the ground now. It would be nice to see one as clean as that lovely notch of yours, they are still out there but its getting harder and harder to find them especially in that condition without paying a kings ransom or even more  But they increase in value so you never loose your money :p  :p

Ozziedog,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, And enjoy

Just joined the forum and the air-cooled world!

Been a VW nut all my life, many golf mk2's an r32 then my kids came along so took a 5 year sabbatical until now. Perfect excuse to get a camper and start building some wonderful childhood camping memories for them.

Pearl, our 1971 dormibile already kindly overheated on m4 on way home from West Country so looking for a decent air cooled specialist to take a look before we have our first trip.

I've read some threads on here about a guy called Mark who is based in Epsom downs, autotechnicks? Anyone know if he is still going? Be amazing to have a specialist on my door step!!

I feel a little faint, whatever has prompted this then Nick ? But it's all good I spose, I'm wondering if you've been influenced by a pair of young gentlemen,,, maybe ?
Anyway, there's a section on here entitled Panel Van **** and I'm sure they'd love some pics of your panel.

Ozziedog,,,,,,,,And about time too.

Hi there Jerome, please excuse my ignorance of the French language . Your command of English is far superior to my non existent grasp of French  So,,,, with your username ,,are we to expect a chequered black and white Early Bay ??? I will make you a bet    If you make yours in black and white checks, then I will do mine also and we can start a two tone revival on both sides of the channel ;) And a huge welcome to the forum to you Jerome

Ozziedog,,,,,,,,,, we want the prince
