Just wondering if any body has used any of thier sound deadening kits long term?

Interested in how it effects damp really and how well it works lol

What's a good cheap insulation/sound proofer?

Start with this thread first and then I am sure there will be more to follow before long.

J & P
:D :D :D

I've used fat at but it'll probably be two years before I can tell you how well it works

Went on well enough, not cheap though so I'm sure there's a better/cheaper equivalent.

How much is 'not cheap' ? Can it be got by the sheet as a whole panel van to do...

I used roof flashing from B&Q on the doors and side panels, double bubble rap under the floor covering, roof flashing and double bubble wrap over the engine and under the rear seat, and bubble wrap under the roof lining,it all made a huge differance to killing the sound in our now very quiet bus
Bazza

Cheers folks.

Good idea that bazza. We've got quite a bit of insububble. Like bubble wrap with a reflective side for insulation. Might give that a whirl.

had this in the back of the camper for sometime, difficult to say as have nothing to compare against.

I'm tempted for a drive up there , they are only about 30 mins from me

I fancy the stuff on the roof

Wouldn't use roof flashing as its bitumen based and will stink when it gets warm , only my opinion
