can you provide some details of your brake/wheel setup? are you running porsche discs up front? or bay drums/discs with spacers?

are all cookie cutters 7J? im asking as ive just got a really good set cheaply, i was thinking running the porche pattern drums from C and C on the back but wasnt sure whether to go standard bay discs and spacers or try to source a porsche disc setup from the breakers yard and modify this?

has anyone got porsche discs up front? are they hard to fit?

Hello Johnny

I'm running stock front and rear brakes, I've installed my cookie cutters with Vw to Porsche pattern homme made adaptors (20mm Thickness).

All are 6J*15" wheels with 195/50/15 front and 195/65/15 rear...

There is not so much space between the rear wheel arch and the tire (~1 finger  )...

Mister 16' I know that you love my bus but I'm sorry, not for sale.. for now

Hello, I left you with my nearly done new 1775 engine, I ran great...

http://video.google.fr/videoplay?docid=4745379291673522509

http://fr.youtube.com/watch?v=DDzosC0peQ0

... until I broke the case on the rear hanger mounting bosses after 8 months of very hard driving

01.jpg

tried to repair it but no success

So I will replace my gearbox by a 73/79 bay garbox witch has the two holes on the clutch house, and I will weld the late bay gearbox support on my bus in order to have it firmly maintained to avoid future case cracks...
