Sorry, final question!!!!

I've just registered my van with DVLA and will be getting my number plates tomorrow but am unsure how to fix the front plate to the van. The back has a flat space for it but nowhere on the front, not on the panel or on the bumper (US Import). I've seen them fixed under the bumper but don't know how .... does it involve any welding or are there clamps available??

I've had me van for over a week now and haven't been able to drive it around the place, very frustrating, but tomorrow is another matter. Have taken the week off to fully enjoyt it!!!!

Mines on the front bumper, but don`t worry to much as I have loads of mates whos vans never have the number plate fixed to the front as they are to low and scrape all over the road.

Just keep it in the window when you park etc, but its an easy fix to the front bumper, just get it in the middle! 8) 8)

And you could always fix them on with these..........

keep the front one under the seat in your van and go out and enjoy your van :D

that where i keep mine, even a copper didn't spot it when he asked where my tax disc was.....

Mines on the bumper to but alot of UK busses seem to have them on the front panel between the indicators, but this looks very wrong if you go for the US style plates.

You need one of these.

I assume theyll be available in the UK. Try an importer, such as FBI or Volksheaven, they must have loads.

They look like a good idea. If you can't get them over here why not import them yourself. I can't see that weighing over a kg, so shipping should be cheap as chips. Alternatively perhaps we could get a group buy going on here to save on costs. :)
