bad ass! :rocknroll:

do you happen to have pictures of your air suspension setup? both front and rear? I'm making my own and would like to confirm a few design ideas i have.

thanks!

Hey man, cheers! 8)
I don't have any pics at the minute of the air setup from underneath, as you can imagine there isn't much room to get a camera underneath there, lol. I will endeavour to get some taken.
Also....currently only air bags on the front, but watch this space for air install on the rear in the near future :msn4:

Show off with the mag and forum mention ;)

Well done on your spoils and look forward to seeing the bus in the flesh 8)

you westy is beautiful!

Hey Mango, cheers
I'm running just standard brakes at the min bro, but something I hope to be upgrading in the future.
I hope it's not going to be a ballache of a job :-?

Bags and brake servo on the original place will not work, you need to use a remote servo.

After a hectic house move recently, and now 1 month later, there was finally room in the garage to house Olive for the winter months ahead.
I have some plans in the pipeline which will hopefully be completed before the 1st show of the season for us in March.

Priority is to get air bags installed on the rear, not only to complete the stance look, but to make Olive a completely usable bus on every occasion.
Second time lucky I'm hoping, as being static and this low on the rear isn't working out too well, Especially when it comes to boarding and disembarking from ferries, or when I have a fully loaded bus.

Second on the list will be some bodywork touch ups. There is slight bubbling of the paintwork appearing on the rear corner seams, and at the bottom of the passenger door which needs attention sooner rather than later, also where the existing electric hook up was removed, fillered over and sprayed it has sunken slightly.

Last but not least will be a propex heater install.
All this within a 3 month timescale after Christmas all being well, but for now, it's time to hibernate from the wet, salty roads and imminent freezing temperatures.

'Project Galvanize' is now officially on hold until the new year. So I'd like to take this opportunity to wish everyone a 'Merry Christmas and Happy New year'! and genuinely thank everyone for the support and knowledge given over the past twelve months. You guys are the best!

Hi Foz!

I think you should get that Propex fitted sharpish, and get out in the snow and enjoy it! ;) Mines all year round action! ;) It is nice to get tucked away though, mine sits under the house in the carport bit, if my garage wasn't so damn small it'll be in there...

I look forward to seeing your plans, sounds like a few bit going on.

Have a great Christmas, and a Happy New Year.

Cheers,

Alistair

Not in the slightest, only issue is between you and Mycha the ideas are getting too much for my first air cooled

OG lacquered Pastel white, improvised air and more than likely a mattress in the rear as the money will run out by then

I'll say hi next season and hope Dita will be able to hold her head up high amongst you boys..

Till then Merry Christmas!

Bus is looking amazing as usual buddy - Murphy is also 44 today although he is nicely tucked up on trickle charge in the garage at home.
Happy new year to you and the family
