Hi is this van an original sliding sun roof model with the front pop top missing? Photos of roof aperture?

Gary

Hi Gary,
No mate, it's a tintop that someone was going to convert into a poptop, but never quite finished.
They screwed the bottom canvas ally track/securing bead to the roof and drilled holes for the poptop brackets, but that's a far as they got, potop wise.
No aperture. just loads of screw holes that need sealing up
I've taken the rear carrier off now and it looks loads better.
9 more holes to seal up now!
Thanks for your interest. Got a couple of others asking questions too. I can't believe it hasn't gone at this price?
it's so solid with about 80% OG paint and minimal surface rust.

More photos coming soon.
This is a great bus.
Steering box is the best I've driven yet. No wandering whatsoever!
She'll be needing a front windscreen rubber pretty pronto as it lets the rain in. Do the others as you go.
Take it to a few end of season shows then do the rest of the resto over winter?
:)
