As a newbie to the scene I don't have a whole host of nice aircooled's. All I've had is a T4 and a Polo estate. At least they're VDubs. I loved the Orange Van, went all round Ireland in it with my dog and Surfboard, good times

OK, so been hassled by Grazy to post pictures of my new acquisition, yes its another Golf GTI   , first one I've owned and I love it, bit noisy with the bad boy zorst on it but runs really well considering its 20 years old and a bit of a bargain ;) ;)

We used to run 2 modern daily's but have condensed this to one, so the GTI is my new runaround.

The first of many... the beetle that is. Summer 87 with future missus.

pictures20Oct2009003.jpg

jacked in my job in 94, picked this up from a scrappy in Devizes, fixed the roof where an old car had been sitting on it, and set off for Gibraltar.

Three days later in Gib! If anyone has one of these racks could they let me know?

Back in 89. The blue beetle I restored from a £25 wreck. The oval/split never got finished... wonder where it is now.

Was that blue late bay a twin slider with the door blended in or something
