looks like you got something large under that 55 decklid? what rims and engine are you running? (i love the stance :wink: )
 
My 1302s.

Bought it 11 years ago as a wreck for £50, took me 9 years to get it on the road so after that I guess it's fair to say this ones a keeper!

This was my daily until we picked up the van and I blew the original SP engine up on the way home :roll: . Had to knick the motor out of the '02 then to get the van going so the poor bugs been laid up around my folks place (again) ever since.

I do have a Porsche cooled type 4 engine in the shed going spare though :wink:

the 55 is running on enkei 5 spokes... and its only an 1835cc motor.. im off to avon park in it on saturday to hopefully get into the 15's!!

the 67 is on air hence the total lack of daylight underneath!! lol!!

I thought I was in for a huge amount of stick for buying the Fiat
but most of the comments have been very positive,

I've even had two serious offers on it , but I think I will hang on to it
until a find a golde sunroof Beetle in a similar condition ,
well thats what I went to look at in the first place, sadly a load of junk

anyone got a minter with a layer of dust on it , in the garage :wink:
 
yep the Fiat is class!, i had a primrose yellow 126 for a few years, i regret getting rid of it now :cry:

Pretty solid, does need a few touches here and there and the engine needs some work, but its going into the old garage on Monday............so let battle commence! :roll: 8)
 
I saw your usename pop up on the type 3/4 forum looking for one of these. Well done, very nice.
I've got a fasty that I've posted earlier on on this thread.

I've been saying that for years! The drive is so much better than any other aircooled vw.
