All the early porchey stuff, a ghia, a razor, muscle car me up baby with the yankee stuff, Aussie big stuff too, GTHO, Monaro, had one of them out on test a couple of years back with the chevy donk in it, but it was badged up as a Vauxhall, went through £60 + in a Sunday afternoon and it could so easily have been a lot more, Aussie version of the Charger by Valiant (Chrysler down under). When I was 16 or 17, (early 70`s) I fell in love with a 56 /57 F100 doing doughnuts in a mall park and have always liked smaller commercials ever since even Morris million vans. V dub single and crewies are real good with me. A guy in Fishponds near where I live in Kingswood, used to have a Morris thousand flat bed with a fifth wheel on it and some huge trailer, never got to see it rolling but that would be something else now days, and you don`t see many P100`s about any more either, a guy in my street used to have a six wheeler P100 that I spose he`d built. The list could go on, and on , and on.

Hey you lot,,,,,,, calm down,,, it wasn`t a threat,,, it wasn`t a challenge,,, it wasn`t anything really,,, it was just an observation,,,,, that`s all. But it does show what people in " little boy mode " wanted when they were kids, MUSCLE mostly, but in the cold light of day, MUSCLE is dictated to by economy. I`d love to drive around in a super duper muscle car but I drive a 1.9 td Vauxhall because it`s economical, :( :(

Ozziedog,,,,,,,,,,,, I mentioned the million,,, ;)

Quite fancy a speedster or a 912, but a nice 56-7 Oval would do for starters. 8)

like the idea of an oval, but having been in a friends beetle recently, it reminded me why i havnt bought one again

I was thinking along the lines of realistic cars i could afford in the future if im lucky, 912 realistic, 356 speedster is the dream

also like a bit of muscle car myself, 70s dodge charger or late 60s mustang fastback or sedan, also had a thing for 50/60s trucks too

Looking at that post - I just realised how 'industrial' my taste in vehicles is

Just to even it up a bit - I am of-course partial to a nice Beetle..
