Thought i would post a few pics of our 68 deluxe 'fannie' that we are having restored. Not completely finished, but very close! The wife named the bus!!!! :oops:

Just booked it in to matt at Balls'd to have it lowered on painted standard rims.

Tried to keep most of original paint and fixings so a few scuffs and scraps, just how we wanted her! :D

Will post more pics when she is finished. :D
 
We haven't got many pics of seats they were recycled from a later crossover, with the paint it looks mint from the photo but has surface rust and some scrapes! We love it that way! :lol: wish we could have had 100% patina!
 
Yeah, sweet looking bus!

What panels did you use to fix the rust under the windscreen?
What was the fit like?

Gotta do the same and more to mine...
 
The chap who is restoring her imported the piece cut from another bus, he done a great job and it fits well.

We wouldn't lower her but she won't fit in the garage.
