Hi all,
I've found some pics of my van in its 'work clothes' when it was a little healthier than it is now. As you see it is good (air cooled) company out side my old workshops. When I'm done with the present refit it will actually be in better shape than it is here. It no longer has the sign writing but is still the same colour. One question that someone may know the answer to -- Were these ever built with 1300cc engines? The log book for mine shows that it was registered as a 1300 and has never been changed. However it had a factory replacement 1600 engine fitted very early on in its life. I don't know whether this was because the first engine gave up or perhaps they were available with the small engine but that the factory decided that 1300 just wasn't enough and replaced them all. Any ideas anyone? Of course it is entirely possible that this is just a DVLA typo from day 1!

if you're sad enough to look at it in ultra hi-res you'll see that the rosette under the wiper is actually for "OG bumbags - best in show"
