PHOTOBUCKET Warning!!

Sorry if this has already been posted here but seams like some have not got the message yet!!


f you use photobucket..or any other host to build an album of pics..PLEASE make sure you set it to private!!!
By removing a few numbers from the end of an image can open up a whole world of stuff that you have uploaded...be it pics of the kids,holidays or worse!
it even comes with the codes to the pics so anyone could use them!!

Please password your accounts

Good stuff,I didn't even think about it,I would have thought private should have been the default? I've now changed mine to private and put a password on there.Cheers.

I NEVER put private images on the net as it can always be got at by some perv or other!!!!

That is why you will never see a pic of me or my family on here or any where on the web.

Problem with today is that every one wants every one to see them etc so privacy has been erroded (only my thoughts )

When you have logged onto photobucket,next to where it says 'welcome rustydiver' there is a link for account options,go here then click 'edit my information' then all should be clear!

well worth noting...people have to remember the Internet is a dangerous place. There are some twisted people out there.

My album is now private....can't beleive its not the default!

Yeah I'm now trying to log in,I can log in and see my album but can't do anything else,it says I am logged in as a guest.I can't upload any more pictures or modify my profile!

Silly me! I had my photobucket set up to log me in automaticly.But when I change to Private I also set up a guest password.When I next went to photobucket I had to log in,but used the guest password which I thought was my usual one but it wasn't.So all is good now!
