Mot booked for Monday and the bus has just developed a fault. Everything was working fine driving with lights on until I indicated - stereo went off and generator light came on, now happens every time I indicate and remains after indicator turned off, only goes back to normal if I turn hazards on, hazards work fine still. WTF ? Why now? dodgy relay? dodgy earth or would that effect hazards?

Any advice appreciated Thanks mike.

Have you checked the voltage output from the alternator or dynamo under load? :D

Can't help sorry . But if you bang this up in the tech section you'll probably get a better response mate.

Electrics do funny things with the lack of voltage, I was on my way to Malvern when I first noticed my bus wasn't charging under load, lights, stereo etc , first the radio cut out, then the lights dimmed, then the tail lights turned into very faint candles, then the coil played up, was fine when on sidelights.
