Remember the first time I saw the SP2 - thinks it was in a Componant car mag in the late '80's, early 90's - thought it looked cool then.
Also remember seeing a Nova (Beetle based kit car) in the 1977 Motorworld
edition of the car mag 'Motor' and thinking it was WOW :shock:

Then in 1984 I found one for sale in Hudersfield and dragged my old man and
his mate along to have a look - it was a pile of junk (well, that's what we thought,
but
I wish I had bought ot now :cry:

Oh the 70's and 80's kicked out some fun cars!!!
 
karmann ghia tc, what a beautiful car.Its based on a type 3 chassis and designed by Ital Design.Nice!
Anyone seen the Brazillian type 3? Not a pretty car but came as a four door.
Theres dozens of unusual vw's out there not known to most people!
