I have a lovely shiney propex which I am going to start fitting this weekend. It is going under my rear seat / r'n'r bed.

I already have a vented gas bottle in the kitchen unit, but this is behind the drivers seat. What sort of tubing/cableing should I use? I take it standard copper pipe, and can I run it under the van??

I'd appriciate any info of what people have done, and I will post some photos of what I mean if that would help...

Yep, standard copper pipe. I have fitted by bottle in the rear westy cupboard so have routed through the wardrobe, but in your case under the van would work well.

I have been collecting all the parts needed to fit mine this week, you will need:

8mm copper pipe (pipeline centre £14.00)
8mm Isolation Valve (Screwfix £5.00) or 5/16" will do
8mm I/D reinforced rubber gas pipe (£2.00/m)
Fuel hose clip
8mm P-clips
40mm Holesaw & Arbor
Regulator to suit your gas bottle
various cable crimps

That should be all you need.

I will post some pics in my gallery if anyone is interested

Yes please mate - very usefull list, doing the same thing with mine, so ta!

Photos would be ace, I'll do the same! That list is very handy.

I picked up my 40mm Holesaw & Arbor at B&Q yesterday and started cutting out the insulation for where the propex will go.

Ok fitted mine over the weekend, pics up here http://forum.earlybay.com/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=2602" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

you can add a 8mm brass 90deg fitting to that list.

Fairly straight forward, i find routing the copper pipe is the worst part
