When doing the clutch on a T2- do you need the whole clutch kit or just the centre plate?

When doing the clutch on a T2- do you need the whole clutch kit or just the centre plate?

You won't know if the pressure plate is damaged until you remove it. If your not in a hurry then I guess you could chance it and then order one if you need it.

Personally I always replace the centre plate, pressure plate and release bearing together, since for the money involved, its not worth taking the chance on reliability.

Has the clutch gone? or is the engine out and you are deciding
To replace the clutch while it's out.
If the its the later then you could probably get away with just the plate
