Is there an easy way to refit my gearstick. I’m having problems getting the locating pin lined up.
Many thanks in advance

Hey Howie. I did this a few months ago on mine. To get it in. Put the stick about 45 degrees back, press the stick down making sure the pin on the stick is in the rod cup (put fresh grease in the cup) and once you have got it in, get the stick vertical keeping pressure on it so it don't pop back up. Once you got that, bolt the housing down and then your in. You might want to cable tie the spring because it makes it easier when doing it and then snip the ties when in. Its very fiddly and greasy but if i can do it any one can ha. If that makes sense ha🤙

Thanks sparky. The rounded end the locator pin is sitting proud so stopping me pushing it down
If I remember rightly, underneath the rounded end is a spring. It might be that your pin / spring is jamming up, so strip it, clean it, re grease it and re-assemble. This should allow it to move more freely and allow you to push it home into the slot without a second pair of hands under the bus.
