Replacing Louvre Windows

Both me and the missus are getting very fed up of our louvre windows rattling when driving (despite them being as tightly closed as possible).

I'm thinking of various things to sort them out but was wondering if anyone knew how easy it would be to take them out completely and replace them with normal (non louvre) windows?

All of the seals are fine for these windows at the moment and I wouldn't have thought that I'd have to change those (would I?) as the window sizes are the same.

Mine rattle too, I open them eeeeeever so slightly and they stop. :mrgreen:

used to have one in mine, i just swapped it for the standard glass window,

The louvre windows use a completely different seal and a fixed piece will need a new seal - how about a new sliding window from VW Heritage so you still get ventilation
