Hi all eb'ers

Bought my bus, currently being given some TLC at Dubtricks, received and sent off log book and what's the next move?? Apart from obvious insurance, what do I need to do I'm a proper noob at this malarkey. So any feedback or guidance will be much appreciated :)
Thanks to all for previous advice on my other questions..

Cheers

Hey Nesquick,

I'll need to be going through the same process sometime after all the works been done...
So will be watching this thread for sure.

What's the logbook about and whats the information needed to receive and fill it in?

Cheers

Logbook is the bit of official paper that certifies who the registered keeper of the vehicle and who is responsible for taxing vehicle.

It's my first time owning so don't know that much dude but I'm sure the hardcore eb'ers here will put us in the picture :D
All the best buddy

  • Tax her
    MOT her
    Fuel her up
    Drive her
    Grin lots
Protect her with good security. Do a search on here for tips. An Uber-secure lock would be a good starting point. Consider a tracker.
    Polish her
    Cover her up
    Fuel her up, etc.

He's having mot at Dubtricks and it's taxed so that bit is sorted :)
Wanted to get an immobilizer and steering lock any advice on those ?? :)
We both can't wait till he's ready to pick up and its gonna be a chilly long drive back from Yorkshire :)
But an exciting adventure on our 1st journey in Marvin :D
Thanks again

An adventure certainly. :D

I forgot to mention breakdown cover and carrying a pack of basic spares. Many of the specialist insurers include very good breakdown cover at a reasonable cost, and unlike most modern cars there is a very good chance of you calling on it, as I did, just a couple of months ago. Best few quid I have spent on the bus. And the quickest she has moved on the M6 too, albeit on the back of a truck.

There are some good threads on here about spares to carry. Don't expect Mr AA to have anything on board that fits Marvin.

Good luck on that first journey. 8)
