Hi Panic Fan,
The front is lowered on the torsion bars, as for the tyres there US , diamondback 185/70R14 . There is a company in the states that will whitewall any tyre size you like.I can't wait to have it all clean and ready for camping myself!

Well , Finally had some time to get the bus out and get stuck in. I finished varnishing the panels and now the bus has a full headlining and new panels in the cargo area.

I have also finished securing the roof rack by fitting some thread inserts, nerve racking when you are drilling fresh paint! Next up will be the floor and then the rest of the interior.
I hope to have this done soon!

Right update time,
I have finally made my mind up on what sort of flooring to use and I will get this fitted shortly.

the front seat frames have been striped , a couple of the springs are broken, so I will repair them at work and take them off to the powder coaters on Monday.

Grazy sold me some and Jail bars recently, so I fitted them in the bus today, really pleased with these!

It not all plain sailing as I have still got a problem with the electrics. I think that I am getting on top of this as I recently purchased a new hazard light switch off of the Samba. This is now fitted. The Hazards now work but still nothing from the indicator stork! I think it needs a little more investigation. I mounted a VDO Rev counter and wired that in as well while I had the dash pod out.

We have just ordered matching rock and roll bed and buddy seat covers as well so the interior will all match, can’t wait!

I will hopefully have our bus up and running on the road for Volksworld in March

I will also try to get some pictures of our CSP front brake conversion uploaded this week!

Not a great deal done last week end , Mounted some of the curtains..

IMG00491-20120114-1721.jpg

and I spent some time fitting one of the doors up.... obtained the door cards and seat covers.. It now all matches.

IMG00492-20120114-1721.jpg

I have protected the doors card by fitting a PVC membrane behind the door card.

Spent all day Sunday sorting out wiring issues which I hate ! Just need a new headlamp switch now to wrap it up.

More pictures of the flooring in situ at the week end.

I have also ply lined out the inside of the wardrobe and put up the side jail bars that I picked up from Marcher this week, really pleased with the bars and the floor! Now the interior can go it and I can finish re-trimming the seats.
