Running a Filter King as a visible fuel filter in the engine bay?

Does anyone run one of these as a fuel filter?
I've seen them mounted in the engine bay and I like the ease of being able to see what, if any, crud is in the fuel.
Rather than rarely checking the inline filter under the bus. (the fuel tank is one of the few things I haven't replaced on mine and always worried that it's fuel of flakey bits!)

If you do run one I'd appreciate some pics of location please!

I ran a Filter King for years in the old bus.

I did use one to lower my pressure on fuel to 2.1 but now removed and run a standard filter underneath.

Been running one for a couple of years now to supply the Twin Webers. I still have an inline one under the van

If still using a mechanical fuel pump, is it OK to have this filter king in-line before the stock pump, so really it’s only being used as a filter/ visual check of pulling fuel?

(I understand that usually it would be located after an electric fuel pump / before the carbs)

I’m a way off needing an electric fuel pump, but getting one of these fitted will be useful for me too for the same reason as Ben.

Would you still put a plastic line filter under the tank in addition to this, or now unnecessary? My fuel filter looks clean so far.

When I had my engine built the pressure was changed from my fuel pump so I do have mine to sale at some point. Also comes with the gauge so looking around £50 for both parts.

It’s a Mabo stand alone fire suppression system. Hope I never have to rely on it
