Looks like I got there early again.

All set up, tunes on and cider poured.

Vinvan turned up, parked next to me and then decided he didn't like the neighbourhood.....

A quiet(ish) Friday evening, and then up for brekkie on Saturday.

Saturday night with the STFU crew.

Don't ask......
Might have been something to do with the Kraken black. :party0047:

Sunday's lineup.

Bristol Volksfest 2018.

Heritage Automotive kindly donated an Amorok to help the setting up.

The good thing about being there when people are setting up is the possible bargains you can get.

:D

A **** up with the plot size meant things were a bit tight.

And the Type 3 Owners Club display pitch was disappointing.

So we parked on a spare plot and had our own.

Lovely piece of topside slowly cooking.

Thanks to all that came, another cracking weekend.

Nice pic's there, thanks. Haven't you just got rid of some wheels.....
Glad the weekend was a success.

In preparation for our trip to Cornwall this week I gave the bus a quick once over, and then changed all the fuel lines, again...
And I also discovered that when my fuel gauge reads empty, there's 20 litres left in the tank.

Could be worse, could be the other way round

Just back from a few days in deepest Cornwall.
Bus flew down the M5/A30 to Tower Park Campsite, St Buryan.

Lovely little 500 Abarth at the Telegraph Museum, Porthcurno.

Training size telegraph poles

Quick paddle on Porthcurno beach,

and then up the steps to the Minack theatre.

Taking our seats for the evening performance.

Back along the coast to Marazion and St Michael's Mount.

Spot the odd one out in the car park.

All packed ready for the trip home.

But first a visit to Porthleven.

The old Lifeboat House

Can't leave Cornwall without a Philp's pasty.

Just a couple of small issues on the way home.
Had to back off a bit as the oil was getting a bit overwarm, oil change this week I think.
And the alternator light came on passing Taunton on the M5 this evening.
So, engine off and coast to the hard shoulder with hazards flashing ready to fit a new fan belt.
Fan belt fine, and ignition light went off when restarting the engine, so further investigation required.

Lovely pics , went there a few years ago. Porthcurno beach is beautiful.

My fuel gauge is the same, maybe even more left than 20 litres!

Maybe a slipping fan belt to blame ?

The alternator light issue has not reappeared, so could just be the regulator getting a bit hot.
Anyway, to try and reduce the engine temps slightly in this glorious weather I'm trying these.

We're off to Paris for a couple of days now, and then the bus is in for some MOT work, so the big test will be the trip to Skeg in a couple of weeks time.

Some really nice pic's Si, glad the weather got progressively better for all concerned.

Did you by any chance take note of whether the EARZ made any difference to your running temp.?

:D :D :D

Hello Jonathan, the EARZ do seem to keep the Berg temp dipstick about 1/2 of it's travel compared to about 2/3 when running without them.
However, a more scientific approach will be taken after I've installed these. Hopefully before Brighton Breeze.

Have you got to the bottom of your running issues?
