Seatbelt Extension Bracket Heritage/Davidoft LateBay

Hi.

Wondering if anybody has installed one of these on an Early Bay. I have a 71 Westy and my bus doesn't have the lower mounting hole . I'm presuming this is the case for all early bay buses. My question is what do i need to do to make one!? How have you put one in if you have done this?

My 68 had the mountings, there are a few people on TLB who had the lower mounting missing and used a rivnut

I'm just waiting to hear back from David as to whether he has any more available as I'm after one for my '71. Mine too doesn't have the lower mount hole but I believe that you use a rivnut to fix this.

Yeah I've heard about a rivnut being used...just wondering if it's something I can tackle myself as I believe the tool needed to fix it in place costs quite a bit and wouldn't know where to get someone to do it for me. Just wondered if anyone might be able to guide on this :|
