I know mate

I've got about 12 weeks to get stuck in before the little one turns up

The funny thing is we have just agreed to join club camping with a friend (kev splitty camping)
At dubs at the hall beginning of July. Are we mad ? Not only is the bus not reg , mot , and is soon to b gutted out but the baby will only b about 8 weeks old the weekend of DATH !

Nope not at all. A date will get you focused. When I had mine it was delivered in Jan, by May I had done nothing. Whilst on holiday at the end of may I suddenly realized that I had tickets to camper jam but not camper. Basically in June I worked my butt of and made it. See just need something to focus on.

Where u live ?, do u do any camping trips in east anglia or any shows?

Nice score there buddy. You really moved fast from considering selling your panel to having a new bus in the garage.

Looks great from the pics. Shame you have to re do the interior it looks spot on. :D

A very tidy project. As said It's a shame to strip that interior, looks spot on!! You have some deadlines to meet James....get on with it, and I'll catch up with you at one of the shows at some point. :D

How'd u lower yours bigbear?

Not sure exactly mate, Karmann Konnection done it for me before I collected it (needed it done to fit in the garage) I think it's about 2" all round ?

Did u see my last bay?
68 panel, karmon connection imported that as well!
I loved my panel, would have loved to have seen some porches alloy on it but never mind she's gone now!
Living in the south of France now!

I'm no expert on lowering , I have been getting some good advice from people on here lately
( thanks people )

Thinking about it I don't recall dropped spindles on my panel?
I'm not sure how karmon connection lower there busses but everyone who's purchased one from them ain't sure how it's lowered

Have a proper look n let us know!

I've got the westy in the garage but needed to deflate the tyres a bit
Not practical t b h !

James if they don't use dropped spindles then really there is only 2 other ways i would think they would lower a bus and thats beam adjusters or cut and turned.

Sam
