i like this wooden shelf better than bamboo design but I think it cramps the leg room a little especially when you've a foot rest fitted to passenger side.
Buddy box closes down the walkthrough walk way. I love walkthrough walkways!!! so buddy box is out too.

that leaves little choice but to go with something like the custom dash organiser i just posted, especially when my dash isn't padded, it looks practical. however, thought someone here would have a better idea and thats what I am after 8)

My buddy box is only fixed whilst in motion via wing nuts, and then removed and put in the awning when stationary and used as a table/drinks holder rather than spilling my beer on the grass!
I like walkways too... but don't use them whilst I'm driving!!! :lol:

oh i dont use the walkways during driving either but i have plans to fit the swivel passenger seat so i dont think that having a buddy box would help the swivel seat

Are you aloud to swivel whilst in motion then?? :lol: :lol:

I couldn't bring myself to hack my van to bits to fit one though... but Im no wielder.

Would you still have to remove the bulk heads though??

even though my van currently is without a passenger bulkhead (got it so from PO) but no, the solution i am working on would be a platform, something similar to operation of z-hinges as it would allow the seat forward (towards dash) and would make it possible for it to swivel and then be pushed right back swiveled towards the bulkhead and lock in just before it touches the bulkhead
