Toasty :D

Exhaust and air intake holes are directly under propex (About 20mm holes if i remember correctly). Exhaust goes off to drivers side, air intake to slideing door side.

Must admit the Propex route looks the simplest, esp as i carry a Gas bottle anyway. Was looking to use whatever means cutting the least amount of holes

CB you still need to cut holes unless they are there anyway, sight the blower in the engine bay (hopefully no leisure battery), run warm air duct (apporx 75mm dia) in under the rock n roll, exhaust the heater through the floor in the engine bay plus cable lines etc

Wouldnt it get wet in the LB side? Its the cutting of the holes(s) thats putting me off fitting one right now

not at all, your heater will screw flush to the floor and cut a gasket from something heat proof if your worried although i think the exhaust is double insulated anyway for heat.

i'll scan and upload the 1600 manual gimme a minute

I fitted my propex as per instructions -right in the middle- I would suggest fitting at least 6 inch either side of centre as it was a right pain connecting up the inlet/exhaust pipes in the narrow space above the gearbox
I now have it connected to a large leasure battery as i got stranded a few times with an almost flat battery & had to get a jump start
