Factory fitted Eberspacher BN4.

T piece in fuel line front side of engine bay fire wall, on off control on dash, and thermostatic control on drivers seat stand this is operated via a cable which links to a flap in the cabin air feed pipe. If you want any more detailed pic please ask.

How did it work? Good? Was it like having a cabin fan where you can blow hot hair onto the front window or do they not have a blower in them?

it worked pretty well, alot slower than a modern car and obviously not as powerful but much better than the weedy 40 year old exchangers you had to ramp the thermostat up if the cabin was hot and you were still misted up. I found that a good chamois block was much quicker though :D
 
bluebird do a fan which you can fit in line to up the airflow, not cheap though £70 i think, I got a fan of Gadget to fit for this purpose or you can get the late bay fans quite cheap....
