Right, with a heavy heart i'm writing this ad.
1969 Savannah Beige Deluxe Bay
I've owned a lot of buses of all varieties but this is the best one yet.
1968 reg'd 1969 Savannah Beige Deluxe
Mot'd-Taxed last week for a full year
Regd on a Northern Ireland Plate, as opposed to age related uk, same thing.
Recent work as follows-
New T2D 4" narrowed beam, Dropped spindles, kyb Gas adjusts, arms,balljoints etc
New brakes, Bearings etc all round
New Adj Rear Springplates-Kyb Gas adjusts
5.5" Flat 4 Sprintstars
New Continental fronts/Pirelli rears
NOS 1600 S/P, runs perfectly, no issues
Gearbox first class, Empi Ball shifter
Bodywork as follows-
NOS front screen section welded in, Front painted in l620, looks very fresh against the patina.
Can be blocked back to leave it more ratty, dont think it needs it though
Bus was a Cali import and has loads of character/patina.
Would benefit from new seals as they are still og, however none leak so good as is
Floors are all as new and require no welding anywhere.
og brown floor mat in rear
Seats are Cream Basket Weave, Front seats perfect as is middle 2 seater, Rear is sunbleached and a new cover would help, i like it as is.
Dash was heavily cracked due to the sun, I stripped it off and had it powdercoated in Beige with the screen panel done black, looks ace and
gives it a different look.
Sides are very straight, arches perfect, rear has some soft dents, which i left in as they give it character
Bus is like it rolled out of the factory underneath, Unreal and rust free.
All electrics are spot on,new rhd hella H/lamps
Electric window washer fitted behind dash.
Bus is based in Northern ireland-1HR from Boat-Plane.
I will help with transport costs to get it back to the UK if needed.
