Sliding Door Lock Puzzle

Hi, I think some gorilla has been swinging on my sliding door outside handle, because now I can "lock" it with the key, but it still rotates anyhow. I took things apart to find the bush that the handle rotates in is pretty much mashed up, but I can't figure out how to get it out, It seems fairly loose, but is still atatched somewhere towards the top. Anyone familiar with how to get the bush out?

it should just pull out ,but as its been mashed the chances are its opened up.try knocking it out with a punch BUT be carefull you dont damage door.

Thanks, I did not want to give it some wellie without being sure there was not some circlip or something I could not see.
I will reach for the hammer tomorrow!

Maybe try prising from the inside with a slotted screwdriver 'gently' around the edge to push the burr in so it will drop out?

Thanks Guys, it came out with a combination of prising and hammering!
Now, does anybody know where I might get one of these (without the split )
