Sloppy box

Im gonna enter the Guiness book of records.
Under"The sloppyest gear box on a vw type 2".I mean its everywhere :roll: And i get a bit of a grind going down the box (till i find the right place)Ive binned the quick changer bits.Where to next bearing in mind im on a bit of a cash limit here.What would get me "quick fix".
I understand its hard with out seeing the gear change in question.But i wanna know the "usual suspects".Before i go on a tangent,kinda thing.
