Spec for earth strap

I'm fitting a bat cut off. Can anyone suggest the ampage rating for the earth strap connecting to the battery neg please? Oh and diameter if poss??

25mm2 which is 170amp

Back in my sparky days, 25mm wouldn't have carried 170A that was obviously mains voltage but shouldn't really make a difference
