Standard wheel nut size?

What's the size of the standard wheel nuts for a 71 (narrow 5)?

I have Empis, but a steel spare - which someone pointed out is made from cosniderably thinner material, so the nuts are unlikely to do up and hold it tight. I shall check first, but it's silly carting around a spare wheel that cannot be used.....
