Starter motor

Hi all I have a 72 crossover and it as a 6 rib gearbox how do I tell if it is a early or late starter motor without taking it off in the paper work it as had a new clutch which was 200mm so I am guessing it's a early on what's your thoughts.

If it’s got the original 6 rib bell housing then it will be a late starter
