hi

am having problems with steering on my bay

steering itself
when you go one way wants to carry on
and about 3-6 inches slack in steering wheel

lowered it failry low
am running 185/55/15 tyre up front
have had recon steering box fiitted (may not be adjusted right)
has had 4 inch slamwerks narrowed k+l beam fitted with all new fittings

have just had tracking set level but can only level front as have got narrowed beam was a mile out
still could be still out a bit whats best to use tracking gauges?
but when you steer in one direction just seemd to pull that way

any suggestions/ help much appreciated as i am a bit lost at what to look at next

rack and pinion steering??

just finished van and looks great just cant really drive it as feels a bit unpredictable when trying to steer

many thanks

just noticed a link with a comment that when a bus is low the trailing arm/kp bolt was fouling on the spindle causing steering problem

anybody else had this porblem?

thanks

I'm having an issue with my tracking I think?
So my bus lowered on rear with adjustable spring plates and one spline
Up front wagonswest dropped spindles adjusters on beam and 4" narrowed
I've just put Gaz coilovers on as I had the cak bug pack ones on but I'm noticing as I'm steering slightly right it wants to go left? I was getting some tyre screech but only on a slight steer not full lock? I've actually raised her up an inch as well
So just wondering could my tracking be my issue.

Camber issues rather than tracking perhaps?

Well just drive to work and still getting tyre squeel on the left on a slight turn of the wheel
So how do I set the camber sparky?
