So i take the van out for a run yesterday, started first time sweet as a nut and ran it out to some family about 16 miles or so stop and have a brew and a catch up for an hour.
Get back in the van turn then key,it turns over fine but does not catch until 10-15 secs of turning and two pumps of pedal.
Before i turned the key i did not blip the throttle pedal to engage the choke because it should not need it in the summer
So why did it struggle to fire?
I had parked it on a slight incline rear end the lowest point but the petrol should not drain out of the carb :?
It did the same thing a couple of weeks ago, again the van was on an incline but engine bay upper most and put it down to flooding the carb maybe??
But 2 for 2 seems abit odd and even after not engaging choke.
Running totally stock setup!
Words of wisdom and knowledge welcome.
Sharky.
