Stupid question of the day..bump stops

Hi all,

Not long bought a 71 crossover which was lowered on front beam adjusters by the previous owner. Don't think he lowered the rear.
I wanted it to sit a smidge lower so I have just lowered it by 1 spline on the rear and 2 clicks on the front adjusters..it now sits spot on for me.
Which leads me to my question about the bump stops..
On the rear..the suspension now just sits on the bump stops..Should I cut one of the 'bobbles' off?
On the front..Should there be any bump stops?
I can't see any, and I can't see any evidence of where any were cut off?
Could anyone confirm where I need to look, or post up a photo, so I can see where they are & if they ate close/touching.

The front bump stops should be between the upper and lower trailing arms.
The pic is of a k'n'l beam, but balljoint beams are similar.




Just cut the rear bumpstops down as required.
