Batley, it's God awful!
Hi all, my sun visors are 43 years and look it they are foooked! I'm just wondering rather than by some god awful and expensive repro sun visors whether anyone has found a alternative maybe from another make of model from a scrapyard or managed to make something - or is it simple cough up and buy the repro ones???

We cleaned and repainted the metal bits then recovered ours and bought some new clips that they clip into.

Thats a good idea, I am getting some headlining material maybe i could use that to cover it? Don't suppose you have any photos of your 'funked' up visors?

Sorry can't do photos at present as bus is still being fixed and is 50 miles away.
I'll get some when it's back, hopefully in the next couple of weeks or so.

We got some trim material from the people we bought the interior panels off - ours were wrecked - and used that.

I scrubbed my old ones with a nail brush and they came up pretty nice! Another job I will have to repeat on the new bus too.

Lemur "painted" his and from the photos they look fab! http://forum.earlybay.com/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=58865&start=40" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Scrubbed mine with a copper swede brush and hydrogen peroxide ! did the trick but still a little yellower than the new headliner
