I know there are a few on this forum and so i thought they would deserve their own thread, plus it seemed like a good excuse to post some more pictures of mine

Sunroof Busses do indeed Rock :D :D

Hoosier, your bus was the first Red bus that caught my eye & was certainly an inspiration & a factor for me choosing the Chianti Red for the colour.

Puts a stupid grin on my face everytime we use it (and it does get used)

Cheers

Nice to know Mr.B :D
Did they only do em in Red (and Yellow  )?

No got a brilliant blue one that is just about to hit the road, pictures to follow (petegee has already seen it)

And here's one in Kansas Beige! Rosie, our pride and joy : ) Looking forward to lots of sunroof open good times on sunny days to come. Gotta fix the leak first though!

Thanks but im a bit of a fraud. The pic has been photoshopped. I have the cookies and rested em up against the wheels then lowered it on my pc. The bus is genuinely lowered now on drop spindles and horseshoes but still rolling on stock steels with 205/60x14 so lots of rubbage with 20st ballast.

I have spare front hubs with the 130 pcd adapters fitted but need to get the spare rear drums/hubs slotted and re-drilled before the cookies are on for real (hopefully after next payday)

I haven't got a clue what you are talking about, but I like the sound of the cookies, especially if they are hazelnut & choc chip! ; ) wouldn't last long in our bus tee hee

Not a great picture but due to the weather its not going on the roads just yet, I'm sure you get the idea  Hopefully get some better pics at the weekend to update the gallery thread

The wifes bus. Sorry bout the little un in the pic but you have to earn your keep in our household

By the way, do we have the only crossover with a sunroof on this forum :? come on, there must be another somewhere.

Guess we do have the only RHD deluxe (UK) bus on here
Infact after asking on a couple of other forums and getting no joy we probably have the only one anywhere.
To be fair I did see one for sale on the Samba and Volkszone a couple of years ago but it had the sunroof panel removed and a pop top fitted and one other for sale which was to put it politely a bit of a basket case and no way near complete.
Dont know wether to be sad that no one else has one (or can be bothered to show it) or happy that I have one of the rarest models on here
