I love metal one of my favourite bands is Disturbed, i am so so glad i'm not the only on here into this music. I thought it was all RnB or garage now.

We should have a big do for bays, beer and metal, we can call it.........................................................

I just came a little.....

We can call it the 'Downlow' festival  Or BusBang   Okay its now turned into just a dogging meet..

Yep into System as well

Toxicity and the previous Album are on my Ipod

Last weekend downloaded 'Alien Sex Fiend' and 'Sisters of Mercy' to try and relive my youth

Trust in my self righteous suicide

System are one of the heaviest bands i'm into, Muse, MCR, Greenday, Rage against the machine, Tenacious D it's all good!
Been to reading festival a few times and went to V just for the saturday to see Muse.

Did anyone see the really bad/embarrassing/upsetting duet that Serj and Tom Morello (Rage guitarist) did for bbc3 Reading backstage coverage? I was sooo excited at the idea of them doing something and it was cringe worthy.

fella,
you just listed my favourite bands...if we ever meet up i have a feeling that we`ll be drinking tequilla at 6am whilst listening to the best rock anthem ever..my.......self....righteous.......suuuuuuiiiiiiicide

DONT 4 get Pantera  . Cemetry gates is a fav but Primal concrete sledge does it every time . As does early Rage Against the Machine ,Terror vision ,Pearl Jam ,Metallica I have 3 copies of the black album  .And AC/DC . If anyone gets the chance theres a tribute act called Dirty Dc ,Check em out the rock

So everyone should be able to find the earlybays by following the sound of rock! Although if we're drinking it would have to be JD 8)

The only band from that lot i have yet to see live are rage  couldn't afford reading tickets.

Has anyone seen Rage since the comeback??? Do they still have "it"??? To me it seemed like it was a financially based reunion for some reason. I saw them live at Leeds Festival 2000 and they were spot on.

Another rock fan here, currently listening to a lot of Faith No More as I was just that little bit to young and into Green Day, Offspring NoFx etc... in the '90's!! The first System album I really enjoyed and I remember seeing them at Leeds (must have been 2001??) and they were real good live. Not really been into the stuff they have done since. I did see Serj when he supported Foo Fighters last November and just felt dissapointed, even more so after the Foo's dedicated half there set to acoustic stuff....what was that all about?? :?

I was there too Mike! Also slept rough, in Derby train station with a bottle of JD  Pubs round Derby that night before the gig was crazzzy  Shame thouse two kids were killed in the mud during the GnR set.... I was in that mayhem and was very scarey.
Still, gotta be one of the best shows ever, GnR should have headlined they rocketed to fame just before that gig (their first UK gig i think?) 8)

I slept rough by a camp fire on the Friday night and on the floor of a train carriage in Derby station on the Saturday.

heard many favorable reports from Oxegen in Dublin this year. They were the only band worth seeing and should have been headlining it!
