Once you go, you will want to go EVERY year, I would say its THE best show

Really hope to get my bus done to go

Hi, been away a while; but I took my bug about 5 years ago - it was a great trip, overnighted in Maastricht but didn't really need to, an easy day travelling to do Spa in one leg.

I am 100% going this year, from Suffolk, but in my 72 crossover. At the moment looks like flying solo so if others are thinking of heading out Thurs or Fri it would be good to convoy/ catch up on the way.

Anyone else going, where from and when?

Stick me down for that a convoy of the early bay forum would be cool :)

I'm getting the Chunnel on Thursday at midday planning to arrive at the circuit on Friday midday.

Holeydub, James308; where will you be travelling from?
I could do a similar chunnel time, James - what do you have in mind, pull over at aire/services when tired or scheduled stop?
Three vehicles just about makes an EB cruise! Not quite the crazy chaos of 250-odd from BBT Antwerp to Hessisch Oldendorf the year before last.......
No one else fancy Duval and frites???? Or am I waffling...
Rich, are you still thinking 'bout doing Spa?
Ed

Hi Ed, I was planning a camping stop on the other side. An hour or so from spa. Planning to arrive at the circuit midday ish on Friday. I'm traveling from the Midlands, but will be going in my 62 DC, my EB westy is staying at home.

James

Hi James
Sounds like a good plan; my bus is nowhere near as cool as your DC, but it is fairly well travelled. And there's a fridge......
Have you planned or booked a particular site yet?

I also need to book the tunnel this week.

Are you returning Sunday night or staying longer?

Lots of questions! I was quite happy planning a solo trip but like the idea of a small group.

Btw, I'm originally from the West Mids area but lived away since 90's.....

Cheers for the vids it looks awesome cant wait

Holeydub, that sounds a bit 'compressed' to me..... I was planning Thurs late tunnel, but James' 1220 Thurs train is looking likely.

James, have you already booked your train?

Ed

Yes train already booked for Thursday. Speaking to people that have been before Friday is the best day to arrive and queues can start early.

Holeydub, not sure I'd fancy 900 miles in 2 days in a bus !

I'm thinking that too now, what time are you both both booking on the Thursday train?

Noticed it's a no cash entry this year and card only

If your camping on site arriving on Friday might not be the best idea - Thursday afternoon would be better as it does get rather busy
