Built the front beam up last night was hoping for it to sit a little but lower but I think my excitement got the best of me! Thought I'd get away without drop spindles for now so I could save save some money... But that's not happening now.

I am changing my mind on a colour though....

Thats sitting high as far as I'm concerned Myles. ...compare that to the pics of my bus prior to its air beam fitting, and something doesnt add up somewhere!! Mine sat lower than that, which would then indicate slamwerks have fuckin done me over with the beam I had on. I'll get to the bottom of this dude, im sure a couple of people on here are still in touch with my bus's original owner, ill try find out if he knows what he had fitted, as I havent a clue and I think slamwerks have played me over on that one, especially as they had originally told me I had ball joint dropped spindles, (I even have an email stating so) then when I come to collect my beam...oh look....just original spindles! as I'd explained to you when you collected .....

Im seriously fucked off now, and that picture showing your stance like that is a piss take on their behalf. Leave it with me fella!!

I been thinking and thinking and realistically the van won't be done to the standard I want in time. So a desision has been made to send it to the bodyshop now! Awaiting a phone all and then a date will be set.. Gutted!

Last little bit of work before heading to the body shop Saturday.

Servo bracket made for the new lowered beam
null_zps651efbe2.jpg

Servo mounted perfectly ;)
null_zps148dd326.jpg

Tightened all the suspension up correctly and blead all the break. Then wheels on and ready to roll

null_zpsc73bd35d.jpg

Bit of camber from being lowered, you ant beat a bit of camber

null_zpsc19eb97f.jpg

Got lock? Drift van ;) haha all to do now is get the doors and panels in the back ready to be trailered Saturday and then it's all a waiting game, typical when I finally get some new motivation!

Nice one dude, cannot wait to see its return from the bodyshop. How long do you anticipate?

Great progress I remember seeing this in Graham's unit ages ago just sitting there waiting for the right person to come along and see its potential ... Keep up the good work

Thank you mate, if I'm honest it's more work then I ever imagined but I guess that's to be expected and it's part of the ride! Will be worth it in the end once it's on the road! Never ending fun! And it's always nice to see something that's seen better days have a new lease of life! Even more so with a old dub
