Tinware - how do you tell if it's VW or 'pattern'

Hi,

I've now got some spare SP and TP tinware to sell but don't know how to tell if it's original.

Does all the original stuff have a small VW or part number on it?

The reason I ask is that some of it is obviously far better quality than some others yet it has no marks that I can find

There is alwayst at least a logo on there. However it is not always evident because a repaint can hide the logo.
