What are you guys using for your tow bars, is there a detachable one that any of you can recommend?

The only one to fit is a Gadget Westie TowBar
If they pop up on here or bookface grab one
Not sure if Dean is making another batch anytime soon

Cheers Stuf

I have just come across these that look pretty good http://www.autocrafteng.co.uk/shop/tow-bars-and-cycle-carriers_113/t2-bay-window-tow-bars_201/detachable-ball_1211/tow-bar-with-detachable-neck-tow-plate-typ-2-68-71_3129/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

I will have a look at the gadget one in a bit and see if there are any for sale anywhere

I think Steve (Foz) is running an autocraft engineering towbar might be worth sending him a PM to see what his opinion is?
Although he is up in Scotland at the moment freezing himself half to death by all accounts :lol:

Jeffrey at BusOK does towbars as well.

i'm using an autocraft tow bar, with detachable swan neck. only I have problem is I cannot open the engine lid when my caravan is hitched up.the tow hitch just fouls the engine lid,would only need about 3mm to clear it.

Why bother getting the grinder out, just give it a whack with a lump hammer.

As above we fit the bars that Jeffrey at BusOK supplies, good towbars and TUV approved.

Lee if you find one ill share the postage with you,you can even practice fitting it on mine as well.

ill just use it till you get your welding sorted so that should get me through the summer ill bring it down after dubs in the dales,

I was hoping to fit an Aurocraft tow bar but having just fitted a Just Kampers stainless centre exit manifold with right mounted silencer the guys at Autocraft tell me that their tow bars won't fit.

What exhaust set up do you have?

Thanks
