Just brought my Van and wondering what is the best trolley Jack to buy and where from. Van is very low so have been looking at low profile ones. Can I buy one Jack that does both roadside and garage repairs, or is it best to have one for each. Also is a 2 Ton jack sufficient for lifting a van?

Halfords low profile one is canny, reasonable cheap and more importantly the jacking handle swings 180 degrees so you can pump it up from any handle. Used it doing up my van.

+1. Awesome bit of kit, just weighs a tonne so is not really suitable for being picked up and moved to other locations. Great for wheeling round the garage and onto the drive.
