Hi Guys,

i have been offered a set of wide 5 smoothies 15", the rears have been re-rimmed not banded to 6.5"

The fronts are standard steels

My Bay is a 1970, which has been lowered slightly...my question is what size tyres would i get to get a good look, and obviously be safe to use ???

Thanks :)

what offsets have the rears got? will they be ok to sit in the rear arch and not rub? would be tempted to bolt a rear one on first to see what clearances you have then you would in a better to sus the tyre sizes 8)

Rear wheels are 5.5 wide (6.5 total width) recommend anything from
175 up

Fronts are 4 (5 total width) standard wheels

This is the info from the seller, as i haven't purchased them as yet......

Thanks for that, it's very handy :D

Be interested to see how you get on with these. I'm currently running 15" split wheels which are 4.5" but have been thinking I would like slightly wider :)
