Hi All,

My bay currently has 195/75/14 106 Continental Vanco tyres all round. I like the tyres and they are obviously well in excess of the load rating for the Van. Only touble is the van is lowered a couple of inches and in suffering with some rubbing on the front arches. The rears seem fine.

I want to change the fronts to a lower profile tyre, preferably of the same brand so i am looking at Continental VancoContact 2
175/70 R14C 95/93T.

Is this going to cause any issues is the fronts have a smaller radius that the rears by about 2 inches ? Are the 95 load rating tyres enough for the front of the van ?

Cheers,
james

I have Continental VancoContact 2 on the front of mine in 185/60/15C size and they have a rating of 94/92T that at the time I worked out to be more than sufficient. They work really well.
Smaller size just means that your speedo will read faster than you are going and you spare tyre will be a compromise.
Cheers
Al
